Experience the movement. Join UWC Atlantic’s Activity Leadership Programme this summer.

Following the success of the winter Volunteer Programme, the UWC Atlantic Experience team at UWC Atlantic have announced new opportunities to do something memorable this summer.

Recruiting up to 12 enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers aged ideally between 18-25, you will be expected to commit to the programme from early June to the end of August. All lodging expenses will be covered as you stay at the College – an incredible 12th-century castle surrounded by 122 acres of woodland on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.  All volunteers will be able to claim up to £200 per month for out of pocket expenses.

You will engage and lead programme participants from all around the world and provide pastoral support for children and young people ranging from 8-18 years old. The programmes range from residential summer education courses and outdoor adventure activities to community events. 

In return, You will have the opportunity to achieve nationally-recognised qualifications, activity-specific training, as well as completing compulsory safeguarding training.

The volunteer training programme at UWC Atlantic Experience covers a range of topics from leadership, reflection and experiential learning, to diversity and international awareness.
